Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival

Kickoff the holiday season and Downtown in December with this year’s Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival presented by Global Payments! The 24th annual event will take place in Bricktown outside of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, and feature live holiday performances, free activities including photos with Santa and a Letters to Santa station, food and drinks, and the traditional countdown to the tree lighting by Mayor David Holt.

Saints Santa Run

Presented by

Grab your costumes and running shoes, the Saints Santa Run presented by SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital is returning on Saturday, December 6th, 2025. Our family-friendly holiday run is bringing all ages, and even pets, to downtown Oklahoma City for a festive 5K and costume contest. Participants can choose between our 5K Walk/Run, 1-Mile Fun Run, and free Kids’ Dash.

Lights On Broadway Annual Event

Cruise down historic Automobile Alley for the district’s holiday open house and experience its stunning light display during the 9th Annual Lights On Broadway event! On Saturday, November 29, December 6th and 13th, attendees can enjoy local shopping, seasonal activities and decor, special promotions, sidewalk entertainment, and much more.

Devon Ice Rink

The Devon Ice Rink returns for its 14th season in the Myriad Botanical Gardens in 2025! Get ready for another great winter of outdoor ice skating at Downtown in December’s premier attraction. Skate across 5,500 square feet of real ice and indulge in seasonal food and beverage offerings. Experience the magical, park-like atmosphere surrounded by the glittering lights of the Devon Ice Rink.

OKC Ballet's The Nutcracker

Return to the vivid Land of Sweets this holiday season with Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye’s “The Nutcracker,” presented by Devon Energy and The Chickasaw Nation. The new production, which debuted to rave reviews in 2024, will return for 14 performances including a sensory-friendly version in collaboration with AutismOklahoma.
