Drop-In Art: Art Nouveau Initial Gift Tags
December 5 | 10am – 2pm
Transform an ordinary gift tag into a work of art inspired by “The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art.” Using flowing lines, flowers, leaves, and other nature-inspired motifs, participants will decorate a personalized initial gift tag, perfect for adding an artistic touch to holiday gifts or keepsakes.
Enjoy a festive storytime in the galleries, then get creative with this hands-on activity inspired by the beauty of the natural world.

Drop-In Art: Photos with Santa & Art Nouveau-Inspired Frames
December 12 | 10am – 2pm
Santa Claus is coming to OKCMOA! Dress your best and visit the Museum between 10 am and 3 pm to get a picture with jolly ol’ Saint Nick. While you’re here, make a day of it with festive activities throughout the Museum.
Head to the classrooms from 10 am–2 pm to decorate an Art Nouveau-inspired picture frame to display your new photo. Inspired by “The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art,” this Drop-In Art activity invites participants to transform a wooden frame into a decorative work of art using metallic paints, paint pens, and other embellishments. Art Nouveau artists believed beauty should be part of everyday life, and you’ll bring that idea to life with your own nature-inspired design.
Then, settle in for a festive storytime in the galleries from 10 am–2 pm.
Bonus! Warm up with free hot chocolate and $2 cookies in the Museum Store, while supplies last.
December Access for All
December 13 | 12 – 5pm
Thanks to the generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program, visitors of all ages will receive FREE admission to Museum galleries on the second Sunday of each month.

Add a little Art Nouveau flair to your holiday season! Inspired by the jewelry featured in “The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art,” participants will create shrinky dink charms featuring flowers, insects, and other nature-inspired designs. Turn your finished creations into wearable art, a one-of-a-kind gift, or a festive keepsake.
OKCMOA Gallery Scavenger Hunt
December 26 – 27
Looking for something fun to do with the family after Christmas? Pick up a gallery scavenger hunt at the Admissions Desk when you purchase a Museum ticket, then explore the galleries together as you search the works on view. Complete your scavenger hunt and turn it in at the Museum Store for a prize! One prize per person, while supplies last.
