Grab your costumes and running shoes, the Saints Santa Run is coming to Midtown on Saturday, December 7th, 2024! Our family-friendly winter run is bringing all ages and pets to downtown Oklahoma City for a festive 5K and costume contest. It is a great way to stay active and spread cheer during the holiday season.

Participate in the 5K Run/Walk or 1-Mile Fun Run/walk and receive a commemorative Saints Santa Run t-shirt and finisher medal. All are invited to enjoy free activities like face painting and balloon art, holiday music and more at our start/finish line celebration on the SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital campus. Food and drink will be available for purchase inside SSM Health St. Anthony at Chick-fil-A and Starbucks, as well as outside at the Metro Minis food truck. Complimentary milk and cookies will be provided for registered runners.

Be sure to bring your kiddos (ages 8 and under) for the free Kids’ Dash, taking place just before the race!

It wouldn’t be the Saints Santa Run without a costume contest! Dress up like Santa or in your most festive holiday costume for a chance to win cash prizes immediately following the race. Don’t forget to post your photo on Facebook or Instagram and tag @downtownokc with hashtag #SaintsSantaRun to join the fun.

Saints Santa Run FAQ

The Saints Santa Run will take place in Midtown on December 7, 2024. All races begin and end at the SSM Health St. Anthony campus (535 NW 9th St). Make sure you stick around in the district after the race to experience all of the great food, drinks, and shopping that Midtown has to offer!

Kids’ Dash

Anyone! 5K’s are great for runners of all abilities and even their pets. And the 1-Mile Fun Run is even better! Runners 8 and under can participate in the Kids’ 50 Yard Dash. Bonus points if you, your kids, and your pets are in costume.

We’re glad you asked. We have created a special Saints Santa Run playlist on Spotify to get you in the holiday run spirit. “Run Rudolph Run” seemed especially appropriate.

No, you don’t HAVE to wear a costume but it’s a lot of fun and you could win prizes! We will have prizes for Best Santa, Most Festive, Best Pet, and more. Cash prize details are above.

Street parking is available throughout downtown. We also encourage riding the Streetcar to get around! There will be limited parking available on the SSM Health campus in their lot south of 9th Street and their parking garage at 9th Street and Dewey Avenue.

For fun and for Christmas! And for exercise too! All of the proceeds from the run go directly to Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership, providing services to the downtown area that include keeping the streets clean, safe and friendly services, marketing our amazing local businesses, and activating the core with community events and public art.
