Each season, the Downtown OKC team puts on a handful of signature events while also promoting other holiday events and attractions that are taking place throughout downtown. Downtown in December is marketed through digital and print advertising, the event series website, a multi-page event program published in the OK Gazette and Curbside Chronicle (new this year), posters distributed city-wide, and rack cards distributed state-wide.
As we continue to adapt to the community’s comfort, updated guidelines, and lifted restrictions, we want to ensure that downtown Oklahoma City remains a destination during the holidays for both residents and visitors.
Downtown in December reaches an audience of over 300,000 through its website, 500,000 through social media, 2 million through editorial, and 40,000 through its virtual Tree Lighting Festival program. Rates to be included in Downtown in December promotions begin at $250 and non-profit organizations are eligible to receive many benefits at no cost.
