Downtown in December presented by Devon is marketed October to January through digital and print advertising, a multi-page event program published in local magazines, posters distributed city-wide, and rack cards distributed state-wide. The series reaches an audience of over 300,000 through this website, 500,000 through social media, 7,000 through our What’s Up Downtown weekly e-newsletter, 300,000 through editorial, and 35,000 through the Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival Virtual Holiday Special.
The goal for Downtown in December is to activate downtown Oklahoma City during the winter season and to promote all the programs and events that make our city’s core a more vibrant, exciting place to live, work and visit. Over 30 events and attractions are highlighted each year and many have become important community traditions. With your participation, we ensure downtown remains a destination for all season after season!
